Alida Anderson is a multi-disciplinary artist who is drawn to theatrical producing by a desire to provide the means for other artists to create. She has received training as an actor, director, manager, and musician, and has dabbled in nearly every other aspect of theatre production.

Her recent experience includes working in the Media Relations department of the Public Affairs office at CalArts; working in the office of Broadway and off-Broadway general manager and producer Roy Gabay; developing curriculum for and teaching theatre classes to youth in grades three through nine; and co-leading a volunteer-based drama team at a local church.

Alida recently completed her MFA in Producing at California Institute of the Arts. She also holds a BAR in Theatre Arts from Rocky Mountain College and a Certificate in Arts Administration from New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

Current Projects

In December 2009, Alida completed her MFA in Producing at California Institute of the Arts, where her final project was the first draft of a book exploring theatre companies in North America that do work from a perspective of faith. She will continue to research and develop this project over the next several months, developing it into a full-length book.
